Pre-Signup Questions:
Which control panel you use?
We use Plesk control panel that is one of industries best and does the job fast and most reliably.
What versions of ASP.NET you support?
We support ASP.NET v2 and v3.5.
What versions of PHP you support?
We support PHP v4.4.7 and v5.2.6.
What Database Servers you support?
We support MySQL 5 and MSSQL 2005 (Express Edition only) database servers.
Do you support Windows Hosting or Linux Hosting?
At present we support only Windows based hosting.
Do you offer FTP Access?
Yes we do support it for all accounts. However the number of FTP accounts differ from package to package.
Post-Signup Questions:
How do I add a domain to my account?
Additional domain registration is a task that is generally performed by our administrator. However, domain management at your registrar remains solely your responsibility. In-order to get your domain configured, follow the following steps:
- Login to the registrar of your domain and point to your domain.
- Change its primary nameserver to ns1.oneb.ca and secondary nameserver to ns2.oneb.ca
- Login to your Account Management Section at oneb.ca and point to 'Domain Setup' link. Fill the form and submit.
How long does a domain take to get configured?
Your domain configuration request will take us 48-72 hours to complete. A confirmation about the same will be sent to you. You can check the same at 'Messages' section in Account Management Section.
How do I add a sub-domain/other additions to my account?
Most of the steps to make additions to your account are similar. Below are steps to add a 'Sub-domain' to your account.
- Login to your Plesk Control Panel.
- Click on Domains.
- Select your domain.
- Click 'Subdomains'.
- Click on 'Create Sub-Domain'.
- Enter the appropriate details and click 'OK' to create the sub-domain.
(Please follow the same instructions for domain aliases, redirects and other features)
Can I monitor my website?
Yes, there are logging tools provided by plesk that you can use to monitor your website. They are provided under 'Statistics' category in plesk.
Do you provide backups?
Yes, we will provide backup services but you are requested to regularly take backups of your site and data as we don't guarantee our backup service.
Can I protect directories with a password?
Yes, you can. This feature can be accessed by clicking 'Password Protected Directories' in plesk panel.
